Our history

I'm not rich, nor an influencer, nor anything like that. I just really wanted to get ahead and change the future of my family.

I am a "Godín" and a stylist by profession, an office worker and with my entrepreneurial spirit of a fighting woman of "I can do everything" I began to look for information on "how to make lipsticks?" I found tutorials and courses, I bought them, I bought the instruments, the ingredients and I began to experiment and I quickly realized that it was not going to work hahaha because they did not turn out with the quality that I expected, it is like when you make your first hot cake!!, (the first one always turns out ugly).

I think it's important to recognize when you can do things and when you can't. So I started looking for suppliers and asking about prices, buying samples.

Here in Mexico there are many options with different qualities and prices and you can find everything.

People who treat you badly and don't take you seriously because they see you as "too young", "too small", "too inexperienced", "you're not an influencer", you don't have the solvency or resources to buy, sell and distribute.

I ended up more disappointed and disillusioned with life than anything!

So I started saving more because I needed a much larger investment to start with a small amount and look for ways to earn more money to invest.
I was working double shifts, I started "doubling up" at my job to get the down payment to invest.
After some time of saving and researching I found a supplier that fit my budget.

While I was looking for proposals and saving money, my sister was doing the brand designs, creating the name, etc.

When we finally had something, we started doing it.
I invested all my savings in this!

And with a lot of faith and hard work we have been moving forward!...

They say that perseverance and discipline ultimately yield results and all effort is rewarded.
But I don't think that's true.
In the end, a business is a leap of faith into the abyss, where you don't know if you're going to have good results or not.
Nothing guarantees that you will succeed or that you will be that "1 in a million" who achieved it.

There is no guarantee of anything!
Nothing guarantees that you will succeed or get the results you expect.
If it were easy, anyone would do it.
Not everyone is willing to leave their "security" in a stable job...
or invest all your savings in a dream.

I believe that a dream without a plan is just that, a dream.

A dream with a plan, becomes a goal.

For us, Malagna is a goal and it is our life, it is our baby, it was born from nothing, with nothing, it was born because someone took the risk to make it happen.

And because someone took the risk of trusting in it, because of you who decided to trust in us.

Malagna is a concept, a philosophy, a lifestyle, we do not sell makeup.

We offer a dream! A lifestyle!
